The REAL sponsorship of the fifteen girls in the Nekempte cluster began in the fall of 2006. Nekempte is a larger town in Western Ethiopia. The fifteen girls, selected by a committee appointed by the synod of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church - Mekane Yesus, attend eleven different schools.
