As REAL prepares to celebrate its 20 years, we asked women who participated in the program to share their stories, their transformation and aspirations for the future.
The picture above represents Fenan's beautiful journey from when she entered the REAL program to today.
"My life before I joined REAL was difficult. There were 10 children in the family, and since our father died, my mother raised all ten of us alone....I learned to help people from Tsehai Wodajo, the founder of REAL...and I can say that I am living my dream now."
